Privacy policy
We take your privacy seriously, and we want you to know exactly what we do with any information you share with us. This policy is written in plain English. If anything is unclear, please get in touch — details at the bottom of this page.
Who we are
Battlefield Chiropractic is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. That means we decide how and why your data is used, and we are responsible for keeping it safe.

What personal data we collect
When you use the appointment request form on this website, we collect the following:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number
- Your preferred appointment date and time (as preferences, not confirmed bookings)
- Whether this would be your first appointment with us
We do not collect any special category data — health information, ethnicity, religion, and so on — through this form. If you share clinical information with us during the call that follows, that is handled as part of your patient record, which is governed separately.
If you give consent via the cookie banner, we may also collect anonymised analytics data: pages visited, time spent on the site, and your broad geographic area. This data cannot identify you as an individual.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
Appointment request form
Lawful basis: consent. When you submit the form, you are giving us your consent to contact you to confirm your appointment. We will only use your contact details for that purpose. We will not send marketing emails or add you to any mailing list without asking you separately.
Analytics (if consent given)
Lawful basis: consent. If you agree to analytics cookies via the consent banner, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use this website. This helps us improve the information we provide. The data is anonymised and aggregated — we see patterns, not individual users.
Aggregate market research
Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We may use high-level anonymised data — for example, the broad geographic areas from which appointment requests come — to understand demand for chiropractic services and inform practice planning. This data is never linked back to any individual.
How long we keep your data
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Appointment request form submissions | 12 months from the date of submission |
| Anonymised website analytics | Retained indefinitely in aggregate form |
After the retention period, appointment request data is securely deleted. If you go on to become a patient of the clinic, your clinical records are managed separately and subject to a different retention schedule.
Third parties
We use a small number of trusted services to operate this website. We never sell your personal data.
- Resend
- We use Resend to deliver appointment request emails from this website to our inbox. Your name, email address, phone number, and appointment preferences are transmitted to Resend's servers for this purpose. Resend acts as our data processor and processes data only on our instructions. Resend privacy policy.
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Only used if you give consent via the cookie banner. GA4 collects anonymised usage data about how visitors use this website. Google acts as our data processor. Google privacy policy.
- Google Ads
- Only used if you give consent via the cookie banner. Google Ads conversion tracking measures whether visitors who arrive from our paid adverts go on to request an appointment. Google privacy policy.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details below — we will respond within one calendar month.
- Access
- You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification
- You can ask us to correct any inaccurate data we hold.
- Erasure
- You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
- Portability
- You can ask us to provide your data in a machine-readable format so you can transfer it elsewhere.
- Objection
- You can object to processing carried out on the grounds of legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent
- Where we rely on your consent to process data, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before you withdrew.
Right to complain to the ICO
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — the UK's data protection regulator.

We would always prefer to hear from you directly first so we can try to put things right.
